A year at our school
Light Up Dunheved
✨Our school proudly hosted Light Up Dunheved: Bridging Now to Next as part of National Reconciliation Week. It was a very special evening that brought our community together to reflect on and celebrate reconciliation, in line with this year’s theme: Bridging Now to Next.
Sincere thanks to everyone who helped make the event such a success. From our amazing staff and student helpers to our supportive external partners and the dedicated members of our P&C — your time, energy, and commitment were instrumental in creating a memorable and meaningful experience for all who attended.
Light Up Dunheved was more than just an event; it was a celebration of culture, community, and connection. 🎶🌿✨
Penrith Show
Big congratulations to our talented students from Food Technology, Metal Work, Wood Work, Photography and Art who showcased their incredible skills at the 2025 Penrith Show over the weekend! From creative masterpieces to finely crafted projects, they achieved fantastic results and did our school proud!
Haka Warriors
Celebrating CCDC’s First Year in the PCYC NSW Haka Warriors Program!
This cultural initiative fosters understanding, community, leadership, and respect.
Over 20 weeks, our students took part in workshops, activities, and community events—learning traditional dance and songs.
The program concluded with a powerful showcase at Ken Rosewall Arena, where our students proudly performed traditional dances, including the Haka, before a panel of judges.
We are proud to share that CCDC achieved:
- 3rd Place – Best Overall Winner
- 3rd Place – Haka Winner
- Leadership Awards – Lina Richardson & Torren Seu
A huge congratulations to our students, staff and PCYC mentors for their passion, pride, and commitment throughout this journey!
