Faculty teaching aims:

  • To provide individual learning plans through a life skills curriculum that caters for needs of students with disabilities.
  • As a faculty we aim for enhance the abilities and skills of our students that best equip them for life after school.
  • A section of the support Life Skills curriculum focuses on functional skills and outcomes through our Travel Training - Community Access program and Work Experience program.

Subjects taught by faculty:

  • Life skills in English, mathematics, history, geography, science, health
  • Life skills work education and work experience.

Faculty achievements:

For several years our senior students have been awarded the NOVA Employment Award acknowledging achievements in a work experience placement.  Most of our students have gone on to attend our Senior Campus at Mt Druitt completing their HSC and either gaining meaningful employment or going on to further training.
